Skipark Ružomberok
The SKIPARK in Ružomberok is spread out above the town on the foothills of the Great Fatras at an elevation from 545 to 1,209 m.
Only 2 km from the town centre. The gateway to the resort is Hrabovo from where a cable car takes you up to Malinô Brdo. Skipark Ružomberok is known for its excellent geographical location because Ružomberok lies on the main route through the region and can be easily reached from the airport in Poprad or from Žilina.
Jasná
Jasná, one of the largest and most favourite cnetres for winter sports is 15 km from Liptovský Mikuláš and 60 km from the airport in Poprad.
It lies at the upper end of the Demänovská Valley. Excellent downhill skiing and numerous cross-country trails to suit all classes are all to be found here. For snowboarders there is a U-ramp built by the LD Jasná – Luková valley station. Ski-alpine fans are not to be found wanting either.
Low Tatras (Nízke Tatry) - Chopok
Chopok is well-known for the majestic views to be seen from its peak. The southern slopes offer ideal conditions for springtime skiing.
An average skiing season is 120 days. The resort is well-equipped with mountain transportation systems, lots of lifts and perfectly prepared ski-slopes. The majority of the downhill slopes are difficult. There are also suitable conditions for ski-tourism.
Donovaly
Rich offerings of winter sports will entice you to this ski resort. Skiing, Snowrafting, Snow-paragliding, nighttime skiing, masked skiing – and all on excellently prepared slopes.
